Most conventional laboratory tests' target values are set using population averages. Therefore, the established ranges tend to be broad and do not take into consideration various individual factors.

Mimicking biological processes using your own serum
You serve as your own control. That is, your baseline is the measurement of your own level of cellular metabolism, while the cells are cultured in autologous serum.
The use of autologous serum provides for the most in vivo like conditions. Measurement of metabolic activity reflects cellular activation and proliferation rate, when stimulated with a mitogen.
Single nutrients are added - one at a time - to the culture: and, the changes in metabolic activity are compared to your baseline level. Thus the isolated variable is the single nutrient being tested.

What's the Process?
- You order the Cellular Nutrition Assays Test Kit.
- Your kit is sent to you at your home via UPS or FedEx. It includes the following:
- Vials, tourniquet and alcohol swab, as applicable.
- Prepaid UPS or FedEx shipping pack with pickup service
- Requisition form
- Shipping collection and instructions
- Phlebotomy service team will contact you (usually within 2-3 business days after your order) to make an appointment with you to get your blood drawn.
- You send your kit to the Cell Science Systems lab in the prepaid UPS or FedEx mailer.
- Your samples are tested for nutrient sufficiency, antioxidant capacity, and specific protective antioxidants.
- You'll receive a detailed, yet user-friendly, lab report explaining your test results in depth (usually within 5-7 business days after the lab received your samples).
