Make Breast Health A Priority!

Nurture yourself and your well-being. Breast cancer awareness month.

October will be awash in pink across the country as we focus on Breast Cancer in the US. At Juneva, we focus on breast health year 'round!

What is breast cancer?

Breast cancer is when cells in breast tissue change and divide uncontrolled, typically resulting in a lump or mass. Most breast cancers begin in the lobules (milk glands) or in the ducts that connect the lobules to the nipple.

What are the signs and symptoms of breast cancer?

Breast cancer typically has no symptoms when the tumor is small and most easily treated, which is why screening is important for early detection. The most common physical sign is a painless lump. Sometimes breast cancer spreads to underarm lymph nodes and causes a lump or swelling, even before the original breast tumor is large enough to be felt. Less common signs and symptoms include breast pain or heaviness; persistent changes, such as swelling, thickening, or redness of the skin; and nipple changes, such as spontaneous discharge (especially if bloody), scaliness, or retraction. Any persistent change in the breast should be evaluated by a physician.

How is breast cancer diagnosed?

Breast cancer is typically detected either during screening, before symptoms have developed, or after a woman notices a lump. Most masses seen on a mammogram and most breast lumps turn out to be benign (not cancerous). When cancer is suspected, tissue for microscopic analysis is usually obtained from a needle biopsy (fine-needle or larger core-needle) and less often from a surgical biopsy. Selection of the type of biopsy is based on multiple factors, including the size and location of the mass, as well as patient factors and preferences and resources.

Breast Thermography

Breast Thermography, also known as Breast Thermal Imaging, uses a very sensitive digital infrared camera to measure heat on the surface of the breasts. This can show if one or both breasts or any area(s) in the breasts are “running a fever.” Significantly warmer breasts or areas of the breast may indicate infection, trauma or inflammation. The images also show thermovascularity, the pattern of blood vessels near the surface of the breasts.

It is especially effective for women with Dense Breasts, women with Breast Implants, women who have had Breast Reductions and for Monitoring after Surgery. It is also SAFE for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Women who begin to have Breast Thermograms in their 20’s, and establish their unique Breastprints earlier, will benefit the most by this proactive, preventive screening. By having regular Breast Thermograms, women can monitor their breast health throughout their lives and be alerted of any physiological changes in time to incorporate preventive strategies to reduce their risk of disease. Physiological changes typically occur years before structural changes.

Breast Health in Bioenergetics

The breast health points in bioenergetics (and they apply to both men and women) represent our ability to nurture ourselves and those around us.

As a mind-body connection, breast health is also about being kind to ourselves, being less judgmental, and doing the things to care for ourselves that keep us healthy physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

It also includes surrounding ourselves with supportive people and their energies -- we all know an energy vampire or two!

When we stop to consider that conventional medicine is finally starting to catch up and acknowledge that there is more than just biochemistry at play, the potential for helping people get beyond the pink-scare is very exciting. Medical conferences around the world are now delving into the concept of bioenergetics -- the idea that EVERYTHING is interconnected by energy. At the level where we bioenergetic health practitioners are working, there are no "things", just interconnections. Furthermore, we know that all physical conditions start at the energetic level. Conventional medicine is starting to understand this concept but without a map of the Body-Field, which is what only the NES system has, true healing will always be limited.

When it comes to Energetic Rejuvenator (ER) 69 (Breasts) on a scan, whether it's a man or woman, we know that there are multiple "reasons" from the emotional, physical, and life journey energetics that can bring this up as a priority in the body-field. A physical challenge may have manifested for a client, or it may be a priority in the body-field to draw attention to their needs to nurture themselves or to gain a clearer perspective on how they nurture others and its affect on them.

And while other indicators and priorities may also show up on the scan that will influence a client's personal therapy recommendation, we always consider adding in some of the Feel Good Infoceuticals to support their overall healing process. By listening to what their exact situation is we may suggest adding in Love, Peace, Chill (ES 8) and/or Heart Imprinter (ED 2).

Is ER 69 showing up in a client who is doing too much for everyone else and not enough for themselves? Or is a client at a milestone where children are leaving home or their life is dramatically changing? Or maybe a client is healing old wounds and shock-conflicts. For each one it can make sense to use Feel Good Infoceuticals to support them as they correct the information distortions in their body-field. And of course, having ESR Infoceutical with them at all times will help address anxiety and fear.

Nurturing ourselves is vital to our health and to have a vision for our life journey.

A great resource in this regard is the Choice Point course offered to clients that can access it via their Total Wellness Portal. When ER 69 comes up on a scan, it can be a good time to review your life journey and use the lessons in Choice Point to align with your purpose, sort through emotional blocks, and reformat reflexive beliefs which is a huge component of nurturing ourselves. Feel free to watch the Choice Point movie in our Learn & Explore area.
