Is Hair Analysis A Valid Basis For Evaluation Of A Person's Chemistry?

Blood tests and urine tests obviously provide important information about a person's biochemical status, but they only evaluate the fluids in the body.

However, the vast majority of biochemical functions actually take place inside the cells themselves. Of course, we can't conveniently take snips out of the various organs of a person's body to evaluate what is going on in the cells, but there are cells conveniently available to us, the cells of the hair.

Through extensive research and correlation of data, it has been established that there are reliable relationships between the levels of minerals in the hair and other tissues of the body.

Thus, analysis of the mineral content of an individual's hair can provide us with a general 'blueprint' of the mineral content in the rest of the body's tissues.

What Can Cause A Mineral Imbalance?

There are many factors to take into consideration, such as:

Diet – Improper diet through high intake of refined and processed foods, alcohol and fad diets can all lead to a chemical imbalance.

What's the Process?

1. You order the Hair Analysis Test.
2. If you plan on cutting your own hair sample, or having a friend or hairdresser cut it, your kit is sent to you at your home. It includes the following:
   • Instructions for 'How to Cut a Hair Sample for Analysis'
   • Hair sample collection envelope (small envelope 5.5" x 3")
   • Hair sample card weight scale
   • Hair Submission Form
   • Prepaid USPS or UPS return envelope

   If you want us to cut your hair sample (for no additional fee), select 'Clinic pickup' as Shipping option during checkout, and after you placed the order call us at 1 (855) 688-3760 or email appointments@juneva.com to setup an appointment.

   IMPORTANT: You will need to follow the instructions provided in steps 1 & 2 of the 'How to Cut a Hair Sample for Analysis' in preparation for the appointment.

3. Once we receive your properly prepared hair sample and the completed hair submission form, we will send your hair sample to the lab for analysis.
4. The lab completes the analysis in usually 2-3 business days.
5. You'll receive a detailed, yet user-friendly, lab report explaining your test results in depth.

Analytical Research Labs, Inc. was established in 1974 by Dr. Paul C.
