What Is Berberine and How Does It Work?
Berberine is an extraordinarily powerful plant alkaloid found in some of nature’s most revered medicinal herbs, including barberry, goldenseal and Oregon grape root. Extensive scientific research shows that, among a slew of health benefits, berberine excels at promoting blood sugar balance—and weight loss—via its regulating effects on metabolism.

Berberine activates an energy-stabilizing enzyme called AMPK, often referred to as the “metabolic master switch,” which helps maintain balanced blood sugar levels and overall metabolic health. Durable BERBERINE is made with Berbevis®, a patented, clinically studied, standardized phytosome-form berberine extract that is clinically proven to significantly reduce insulin resistance within just 30 days while reducing visceral fat by 22% on average within 60 days.
