It’s almost Halloween which can mean lots of candy and treats around, and the comfort foods of the holiday season are just around the corner! This month we are focusing on ER-42 which relates to the pancreas; it also shares a mind-body association with our relationship to our families.
By stimulating Energetic Rejuvenator (ER) 42 and correcting it’s energetic information, we not only clear energy blocks in the pancreas but also along the spleen meridian. Interestingly enough the pancreas represents our desire for the sweetness of life! When our pancreas energy is distorted, we can become overly dramatic or dark, gloomy and morose. At the macro level, the Infoceutical Pancreas Driver (ED-15) helps us to process thoughts, think clearly, and use our intellect along with it’s anatomical functions. When the pancreas is energetically clear, you find that its easier to achieve your goals and bring your intentions to fruition.
Biochemically, the pancreas functioning optimally maintains our blood sugar balance, the release of digestive enzymes, and our overall digestion. It helps us to take the energy from our foods as well as the information contained in them and distribute it throughout our cells, organs, and tissues. The pancreas also works with the liver to regulate blood sugar and in fact, it’s close proximity to the liver means that the two organs share field energy.
Bioenergetically, we see that this close relationship also means that the pancreas plays a role in immune strength and the production of antibodies. On the downside, if the energy in the field is distorted, many sub-clinical infections may decide to hide out in this anatomical area. By restoring the proper bioenergetics, the body itself can then provide a strong defense against all of the bacteria and viruses that lurk here. The pancreas too plays a role with muscles and their job of holding organs in their proper place, so improper bioenergetics can be indicated with muscular dysfunctions.
Other biochemical problems that may right themselves once the energy is corrected include:
- Poor appetite, out of balance food cravings, and digestion
- Food sensitivities, IBS, and leaky gut
- Poor concentration and mood issues
- Prolapse of organs
- Fluid retention, swollen and stiff joints, and systemic inflammation
On the emotional level, clients with ER-42 showing up may find themselves stuck in obsessive thinking, mental feedback loops, worry, indecisiveness, and mental stagnation. You can see that distorted energy at ER-42 can also impede someone from moving forward in life, actualizing their intentions, and using their muscles to metaphorically “make life happen.” These are your clients who probably crave sugar in an effort to create sweetness in their lives.
The pancreas is part of the Spleen Meridian so this means Integrator 12 (EI-12) will often be a priority too. From a Traditional Chinese Medicine approach, the Spleen Meridian includes the spleen, pancreas, solar plexus of nerves and all of the implications of our ability to digest and assimilate food. This is the meridian that also includes physical, chemical, and emotional shocks. EI-12 represents our ability to accept and experience pleasure as a fundamental indication of our well-being. Many people walking through cancer will also have energetic distortions related to EI-12; it can also correlate to a loss of hope and mental collapse which may be part of the cancer process for many people.
